ACTIVE and PASSIVE

Contoh :
Active : We fertilize the soil every 6 months
Passive: The soil is fertilized by us every 6 months
Dari contoh ini dapat kita lihat bahwa:
Object dari active voice (the soil) menjadi subject dari passive voice
Subject dari active voice (we) menjadi object dari passive voice. Perhatikan pula bahwa terjadi perubahan dari subject pronoun ‘we’ menjadi object pronoun ‘us’.
Verb1 (fertilize) pada active voice menjadi verb3 (fertilized) pada passive voice.
Ditambahkannya be ‘is’ di depan verb3. Be yang digunakan adalah tergantung pada subject passive voice dan tenses yang digunakan. (Perhatikan pola-pola passive voice di bawah).
Ditambahkannya kata ‘by’ di belakang verb3.
Subject + be + Verb3 + by + Object + modifier
Pola active dan passive voice pada tiap tensis
  1. Jika active voice dalam simple present tense, maka ‘be’ passive voice-nya adalah is, am atau are.
Contoh:
Active : He meets them everyday.
Passive : They are met by him everyday.

Active : She has watered this plant for 5 minutes.
Passive : This plant has been watered by her for 5 minutes.
  1.  Jika active voice dalam past perfect tense, maka ‘be’ passive voice-nya adalah been yang diletakkan setelah auxiliary had, sehingga menjadi had been

Passive : They had been met by him before I came.
Active : She had watered this plant for 5 minutes when I got here

Passive : They would have been met by him.

You Are the Apple of My Eye Movie Review

Base on real life romance story, director’s Giddens Ko (九把刀) and his crew as well as the lead actor Ke Zhendong (柯震東) and lead actress Michelle Chen (陈妍希) has filmed a great movie of “You Are the Apple of My Eye” (那些年, 我們一起追的女孩) feature debut about his adolescent years.
Talking about first love and those sweet moments… Do you still remember when is your first love happening back during school days? Have you ever give up on a girl which you really in love a lot? School life might be containing with lots of simple and childish memories but yet it gives the most happening memories in life.
those years those sweet and ambiguous moments… Those years I miss out the opportunity… Those years those puppy love and eye-candy… Those years our childish and foolish actions… Those years, the years I miss and falling in love with you… Those years you encouraged me and giving me a miracle in my life… Those years I tears because of you… and those years, I giving up on you…

What is You Are the Apple of My Eye (那些年) movie all about? Well, I would say that, instead of making you falling in love again, it’s about bringing you back to the memory of your first fall in love moment with someone in your youth life.
You Are the Apple of My Eye Movie is about an existing true love which ended not to be together. It’s a very common relationship happen in life and all we need to do is to bless and wish your opponent happy and blissful. Thus, you can't always wait for the perfect time. Sometimes, you have dare to do it because life's too short to wonder what could have been.
You Are the Apple of My Eye Movie teaches us not to miss out the chances beside us. “He or She didn’t give up on you, is you give up on yourself”, if you always keep in heart, one day you might be losing it. True love can feel from heart without any action to it.
Movie [那些年] is a romance and most touching movie I ever watch this year! A movie brings me back to my sweet memories moment and I like the way how the story flow along in this movie. It touched and focused all the main point on how love cycle happened and ended in life.
The cinematography of [那些年] movie was great! It give me a very locally Taiwanese style of film, very relaxing and peacefully. Well theme song and background music were created and with its comedy action, it enhances the enjoyable mood of audience while watching this movie.
“When we’re constantly wishing for something, we overlook everything we already have.” We can’t always wait for miracle to happen, sometime we must do something to achieve it.
I started to cry at the last 15 minutes of this movie, it was the most touching scene ever! It was the critical scene of seeing true love appearing in front of you and touches your heart instantly. It worth the tears and I bet that it was an unforgotten moment ever.
I can conclude that the director’s 九把刀 had made a great film this year! Knowing what audience wants and appreciating the way he directed this [那些年] movie. With this, I rate this “You Are the Apple of My Eye Movie”: 5/5 star. It’s definitely a MUST WATCH MOVIE!!!
